We are seeking a highly organized and professional Housekeeping Manager to join the team at Hyatt. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that our guests experience the clean and hygienic environment they deserve.The ideal candidate should have a passion for excellence and a commitment to upholding our high standards of cleanliness and customer service. The role requires a proven leader with excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to motivate and manage a team.To succeed in this role, you should have a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a housekeeping setting, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment. You should also have a working knowledge of relevant regulations and health and safety standards. A bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred. Above all, you should be a positive and inspiring leader with a strong customer service orientation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and customer service.
- Recruit, hire, train, and motivate housekeeping staff.
- Ensure that all safety and health regulations and standards are adhered to.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for the housekeeping department.
- Monitor housekeeping staff performance and provide guidance and feedback.
- Monitor and manage housekeeping supplies and equipment.
- Handle customer complaints and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain records, files, and other administrative duties.
- Ensure that all housekeeping staff adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate housekeeping staff productivity and performance.
