Housekeeping Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and professional Housekeeping Manager to join the team at Hyatt. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that our guests experience the clean and hygienic environment they deserve.The ideal candidate should have a passion for excellence and a commitment to upholding our high standards of cleanliness and customer service. The role requires a proven leader with excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to motivate and manage a team.To succeed in this role, you should have a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a housekeeping setting, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment. You should also have a working knowledge of relevant regulations and health and safety standards. A bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred. Above all, you should be a positive and inspiring leader with a strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and customer service.
2. Recruit, hire, train, and motivate housekeeping staff.
3. Ensure that all safety and health regulations and standards are adhered to.
4. Develop and implement policies and procedures for the housekeeping department.
5. Monitor housekeeping staff performance and provide guidance and feedback.
6. Monitor and manage housekeeping supplies and equipment.
7. Handle customer complaints and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
8. Maintain records, files, and other administrative duties.
9. Ensure that all housekeeping staff adhere to company policies and procedures.
10. Monitor and evaluate housekeeping staff productivity and performance.
