Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Painter to join the Maintenance team at Hyatt. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all interior and exterior painting and wallpapering activities are completed to the highest standards. We are looking for someone with excellent technical skills, an eye for detail and a commitment to quality.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in painting and wallpapering, along with a comprehensive understanding of maintaining and preparing surfaces for painting. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Responsibilities:

Preparing surfaces for painting, including sanding, caulking, filling, and sealing.
Selecting and mixing the appropriate paint, varnish, or other coating, and applying it with brushes, rollers, and/or sprayers.
Mixing, matching, and applying wallpaper, fabric, or other materials for wall coverings.
Ensuring the quality of the finished product and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Inspecting surfaces for defects, such as cracks, holes, and peeling paint.
Repairing and patching surfaces prior to painting.
Following all safety protocols and procedures.
Maintaining painting and wallpapering tools and equipment in good working order.
Working closely with the Maintenance team to ensure that all painting and wallpapering activities are completed on time and to the highest standards.
Demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation

According to JobzMall, the average salary range for a Maintenance - Painter in Las Vegas, NV, USA is $11.00 - $17.00 per hour. This range is based on the current market rates and can vary based on the experience and qualifications of the individual.
