Job Description

Hyatt is looking for an enthusiastic Sales & Events Coordinator to join our dynamic team and help us continue to provide our guests with exceptional service. In this key role, you will be responsible for helping to plan and manage events at our hotel while engaging with guests and providing them with outstanding customer service. To succeed in this position, you should be an excellent communicator with exceptional organizational skills and a passion for events and hospitality.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, event planning, or a related field• 3+ years of experience in a similar role• Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks• Knowledge of the hotel and hospitality industry• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Excellent customer service and communication skills• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekendsIf you are a people-person with a passion for hospitality and a drive to create memorable events, then this could be the perfect role for you! Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and manage events at the hotel, ensuring exceptional service for guests.
  2. Engage with guests and provide outstanding customer service.
  3. Effectively multi-task and prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion of projects.
  4. Develop and maintain knowledge of the hotel and hospitality industry.
  5. Work independently and as part of a team to ensure successful event outcomes.
  6. Provide excellent customer service and communication skills to guests.
  7. Work flexible hours including evenings and weekends when necessary.
  8. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  9. Manage and coordinate all necessary event details, such as vendors, catering, and décor.
  10. Monitor all event costs and budgets.
