Job Description

Are you a customer service-oriented individual with a passion for sales and events? Hyatt is looking for a Sales & Events Coordinator to join our team and help ensure our guests’ experience here at the hotel is unforgettable.We are looking for an individual with high energy and enthusiasm, an outgoing personality, and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in sales and event coordination and will take ownership of each event.The Sales & Events Coordinator will develop relationships with our guests and provide a personalized experience. You should be able to work independently and take initiative to ensure that all events are managed to the highest standards.Qualifications:• 2+ years of sales and/or event coordination experience• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or a related field• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computerized reservations systemsIf you are looking for an opportunity to join a dynamic team and help create unforgettable experiences for our guests, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Develop relationships with guests to provide a personalized experience • Take initiative to ensure that all events are managed to the highest standards • Provide exceptional customer service to guests • Oversee the planning and coordination of events • Manage reservations and bookings • Develop sales strategies to increase revenue • Monitor sales progress and ensure goals are met • Utilize computerized systems for reservations and bookings • Assist guests with inquiries pertaining to events, services, and amenities • Ensure that all guests’ needs are met in a timely manner • Maintain records of all events, sales, and customer interactions
