Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic IBM Z Systems Support Apprentice to join the IBM team. If you are eager to learn, have a passion for technology, and possess the drive and determination to grow your career, this may be the perfect role for you!The IBM Z Systems Support Apprentice will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support in the operation and maintenance of IBM Z Systems. The successful candidate should have strong problem-solving skills and be able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.The ideal candidate will have a degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, as well as experience in database management and systems analysis. We are looking for a motivated individual who can work independently, take initiative, and effectively communicate with peers and customers. A passion for technology and a strong desire to learn and develop new skills is a must!

Responsibilities of the IBM Z Systems Support Apprentice:

  1. Provide technical expertise and support in the operation and maintenance of IBM Z Systems.
  2. Utilize problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot systems issues.
  3. Prioritize tasks and ensure deadlines are met.
  4. Maintain databases and analyze system performance.
  5. Work independently and take initiative to resolve issues.
  6. Effectively communicate with peers, customers, and other stakeholders.
  7. Remain up-to-date with industry developments and new technologies.
  8. Demonstrate a passion for technology and a desire to learn and develop new skills.
