Job Description

We’re looking for a Procurement Professional to join the IBM team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving cost savings, ensuring compliance and managing relationships with suppliers. You’ll need to have a successful track record in procurement and a strong understanding of the business. If you’re ready to make an impact and help shape our procurement strategy, this role is for you.The ideal candidate will have a degree in Business Administration or Purchasing and a minimum of 5 years of procurement experience. You should be well-versed in contract negotiation, cost analysis, supplier evaluation and procurement laws and regulations. We’re looking for someone who is organized, has excellent communication skills and is highly analytical. If you’re a creative problem solver with a passion for procurement, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive cost savings and ensure compliance with procurement regulations
  • Manage relationships with suppliers
  • Negotiate contracts and analyze costs
  • Evaluate suppliers and assess their performance
  • Monitor procurement laws and regulations
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies
  • Support other departments with procurement-related tasks
  • Maintain accurate records and data
  • Track and manage inventory
  • Research and identify new sources of supply
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers
  • Resolve supplier issues in a timely manner
