Job Description

We at IBM are looking for an experienced Procurement Professional to join our team. As a Procurement Professional, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of goods and services, ensuring that the needs of the organization are met in a cost effective and timely manner.To be successful in this position, you should have a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. In addition, you should have at least 3 years of experience in procurement, contract management, and supply chain management. You should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be extremely organized, and have the ability to manage multiple projects. Experience in strategic sourcing and negotiation is also highly desirable.If you have a passion for procurement and a commitment to excellence, we would love for you to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement, and manage effective procurement strategies in order to meet organizational needs.
  2. Source vendors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery of goods and services.
  3. Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors and suppliers.
  4. Monitor the performance of vendors and suppliers to ensure contract compliance.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential vendors and suppliers.
  6. Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and contracts.
  7. Monitor and analyze market trends and changes to ensure best pricing and terms.
  8. Analyze and report on procurement metrics to identify areas of improvement.
  9. Develop and enforce procurement policies and procedures.
  10. Train and educate internal stakeholders on procurement processes and procedures.
