Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and passionate Product Quality Engineer to join our team at IBM! This is an ideal role for someone who is an innovative problem solver and experienced in quality assurance processes. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in designing, developing, and executing quality control plans. They should also have excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a team.To be successful in this role, the Product Quality Engineer should have:• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field• A minimum of 5 years of experience in product quality assurance and/or engineering• Experience in software development processes• Experience with automated test tools• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities for the Product Quality Engineer:

  1. Design, develop, and execute quality control plans to ensure high-quality standards are met.
  2. Monitor and analyze product quality performance to identify areas for improvement.
  3. Develop automated test tools and processes to ensure quality control.
  4. Maintain product quality documentation to track progress and ensure compliance.
  5. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure product quality is maintained throughout the product development process.
  6. Investigate customer complaints related to product quality and develop solutions.
  7. Develop and maintain quality metrics and KPIs.
  8. Perform root cause analysis on quality issues.
  9. Provide technical expertise and guidance on product quality assurance.
  10. Communicate with stakeholders to ensure product quality is maintained.
