Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Quantum Computing Scientist to join our team at IBM. In this role, you will be at the forefront of research and development to further quantum computing advancements. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for learning, a deep understanding of quantum computing principles, and the ability to innovate and think outside the box.The successful Quantum Computing Scientist should have a PhD in quantum computing, physics, mathematics, computer science, applied mathematics, or a related field. Additionally, you must have prior experience working in a laboratory setting, alongside a team of experts, and have a strong knowledge of quantum computing algorithms. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.Experience with quantum computing programming languages such as Qiskit and other relevant software tools is highly desired. Responsibilities: • Research and develop advanced quantum computing algorithms and techniques. • Design, implement, and test quantum computing systems. • Utilize quantum computing programming languages such as Qiskit. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams from various technical backgrounds. • Analyze and interpret results from quantum computing experiments. • Identify and solve problems related to quantum computing. • Write reports and documentation for research projects and results. • Remain up-to-date with the latest advances in quantum computing. • Train and mentor junior team members in quantum computing principles.
