Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated TCAD Engineer to join our IBM team.The ideal candidate for this role will be an engineer with a passion for developing novel and complex technology solutions. You will be an enthusiastic problem solver who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and open to new ideas and solutions. You should be highly motivated, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to think outside the box to come up with creative solutions.The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in TCAD engineering. You should have a thorough understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes, device physics, and TCAD modeling and simulation. You should also have experience in the development of TCAD-based design flows and tools. Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python, and experience with Linux operating systems will be a plus.If you have the technical expertise and the drive to contribute to our team, then we encourage you to apply!

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop novel and complex technology solutions.
  2. Analyze and solve complex technical problems.
  3. Develop TCAD-based design flows and tools.
  4. Leverage scripting languages, such as Python, to develop technical solutions.
  5. Utilize Linux operating systems to support engineering projects.
  6. Research and stay current on semiconductor fabrication processes, device physics, and TCAD modeling and simulation.
  7. Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure successful project delivery.
  8. Generate and present reports and other documents that support technical findings.
  9. Create and maintain engineering documents/databases.
  10. Develop and implement quality assurance procedures.
