Prioritize orders to accommodate rush orders and maintain a balance among the several sources of incoming orders. Review each order prior to entering; verify compliance with financial, contractual and regulatory requirements including appropriate sold-to information, payment terms, end-user purchase order when required, sales rep territorial limitations, etc. Obtain dollar level approval as required. Contact company sales reps to obtain missing information or changes to purchase orders. Determine correct order type (domestic, export, etc.), customer number for billing and shipping, and the correct shipping method. Verify commission control data assigned by the system. Verify prices and resolve discrepancies. Comply with corporate policy and regulatory requirements related to order pricing including the Sarbanes Oxley Act. Initiate requests for special discount, pricing and/or commission approvals with the appropriate supervisory level. Assist Customer Service and Finance in investigating customer pricing disputes.
