Job Description

Advise on and drive legal strategy for Instagram growth, privacy, security, key terms and policies, and compliance initiatives. Review Instagram features and business initiatives to provide practical legal risk mitigation strategies across multiple jurisdictions. Build, manage, and mentor a team of experienced attorneys and legal professionals. Work cross-functionally with Meta’s legal, business, and product teams. Coordinate with privacy, public policy, communications, product management, engineering, product marketing and other cross-functional teams on product development. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced team player to serve as Associate General Counsel supporting a number of teams responsible for Instagram growth, privacy, and security, and managing Instagram’s terms and policies and compliance initiatives. Job Qualifications

8+ years of legal experience, including at a law firm or in-house experience
Managerial experience
Experience working with and leading cross-functional teams
Experience working on product counseling, regulatory, litigation, and compliance matters a plus
Experience working on privacy legal issues and privacy counseling
