
Facilities Instrument and Controls Technician
Intel is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Facilities Instrument and Controls Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess a comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, and automation; and have the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and will be a key contributor in ensuring that the Intel facility's mechanical and electrical systems are functioning optimally.In this role, you will be responsible for calibrating, repairing, and maintaining the instrumentation and controls systems across the Intel facility. You will collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure that all systems are functioning safely and efficiently. Additionally, you will be involved in the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of all facility instrumentation and controls systems.To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a minimum of 5 years' experience in the instrumentation and control field, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and possess a valid driver's license. Candidates should also have strong problem-solving and analytical skills, be detail-oriented, and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Responsibilities:
- Calibrate, repair, and maintain instrumentation and controls systems across the Intel facility.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain all facility instrumentation and controls systems.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure that all systems are functioning safely and efficiently.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for instrumentation and control systems.
- Monitor system performance and identify areas of improvement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards.
- Provide guidance and support to other technicians and engineers.
- Stay up to date on the latest developments in instrumentation and control technologies.
- Work with vendors to procure supplies and materials as needed.
