Job Description

As a Pre-Silicon Validation Engineer Graduate Intern at Intel, you will have the opportunity to work alongside industry experts and gain hands-on experience in the exciting world of chip design and validation.   1. Collaborate with experienced engineers to validate pre-silicon designs and ensure they meet performance, functionality, and quality requirements.
  2. Conduct tests and experiments on hardware and software components to identify and resolve issues.
  3. Analyze and interpret test results, and communicate findings to the team.
  4. Contribute to the development of validation plans and strategies.
  5. Create and maintain test scripts, tools, and methodologies.
  6. Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand design specifications and requirements.
  7. Identify potential risks and provide recommendations for mitigation.
  8. Continuously learn and stay updated on industry trends and advancements in chip design and validation.
  9. Follow established processes and procedures, while also suggesting improvements to enhance efficiency.
  10. Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  11. Proactively seek out opportunities to develop new skills and knowledge.
  12. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Pre-Silicon Validation Techniques: Candidates Should Possess A Strong Foundation In Pre-Silicon Validation Concepts And Methodologies, Including Simulation, Emulation, And Hardware Acceleration.

  • Understanding Of Design And Verification Methodologies: A Solid Understanding Of Design And Verification Methodologies Such As Systemverilog, Uvm, And Scripting Languages Like Perl And Python Is Essential For This Role.

  • Familiarity With Industry Standard Tools: Experience With Industry-Standard Pre-Silicon Validation Tools Such As Mentor Graphics Questa, Synopsys Vcs, And Cadence Palladium Is Preferred.

  • Strong Debugging And Troubleshooting Skills: The Ability To Analyze Complex Design And Test Failures, And Provide Solutions Is A Crucial Qualification For This Role.

  • Team Player: The Ability To Collaborate And Communicate Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams And Work In A Fast-Paced Environment Is Essential For Success In This Role.
