As the SEC Reporting Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting to the Securities and Exchange Commission. - Oversee all aspects of the company's SEC reporting process, including but not limited to 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filings.
- Ensure compliance with all SEC regulations and reporting requirements, including GAAP and XBRL.
- Prepare and review financial statements, footnotes, and other required disclosures for accuracy and completeness.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data for inclusion in SEC filings.
- Monitor changes in SEC regulations and accounting standards and update reporting processes accordingly.
- Coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely completion of quarterly and annual audits.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior management and other departments, to gather necessary information for financial reporting.
- Review and analyze financial data to identify potential errors or discrepancies and take corrective action as needed.
- Manage and train a team of SEC reporting professionals to ensure high-quality, accurate, and timely reporting.
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements to streamline the SEC reporting process.
- Participate in special projects and ad hoc analysis as assigned by management.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the company's business, products, and industry to accurately reflect financial information in SEC filings.
- Serve as a liaison between the company and the Securities and Exchange Commission, responding to inquiries and requests for information.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as ethical standards, in all aspects of work.
- Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Sec Reporting And Financial Accounting.
Strong Knowledge Of Us Gaap And Sec Regulations.
Cpa Certification Is Preferred.
Experience With Sec Reporting Software And Erp Systems, Such As Workday Or Oracle.
