Director IT Test Engineering

We are looking for a confident and experienced IT Test Engineering Director to join the InterContinental Hotels team. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for driving cutting-edge test engineering initiatives and leading a talented team of Test Engineers.You must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in a hands-on technical position and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a management or leadership role. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.We seek a motivated and creative leader with a passion for technology and an eye for detail. You will need to have excellent problem solving skills and be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. You must possess strong organizational and planning skills and be able to develop and implement test plans and strategies. 1. Lead a team of Test Engineers and ensure that they are working to the highest standards.
2. Develop and implement test plans and strategies to ensure the quality of our products.
3. Monitor and evaluate all test engineering initiatives to ensure efficient utilization of resources.
4. Identify and troubleshoot problems with existing products and processes.
5. Ensure that all test engineering activities meet industry best practices and standards.
6. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to ensure the successful execution of test engineering initiatives.
7. Manage the budget for the Test Engineering department and ensure that resources are allocated efficiently.
8. Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the efficiency of the Test Engineering team.
9. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing support for testing needs.
10. Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends in the industry.
