Job Description

Are you an experienced hospitality professional looking for a new challenge? InterContinental Hotels is seeking a General Manager to oversee all aspects of our hotel operations and ensure exceptional guest service. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to maximize revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction.To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 5 years of hospitality management experience, preferably in a hotel setting. You must be highly organized and have excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute strategies to maximize revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  2. Manage all aspects of hotel operations, including staff, resources, and services.
  3. Monitor financial performance and conduct budgeting and forecasting.
  4. Establish and maintain positive relationships with guests and staff.
  5. Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures.
  6. Handle customer complaints and disputes.
  7. Monitor industry trends and developments and recommend updates to hotel offerings.
  8. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  9. Develop and implement marketing and promotional activities.
  10. Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate staff.
