Proficiency In Operating Material Handling Equipment: This Includes Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, And Other Industrial Machinery Used To Move And Transport Materials Within The Facility.
Knowledge Of Safety Protocols And Procedures: Material Handlers Must Be Familiar With Safety Regulations And Best Practices To Ensure The Safe Handling And Movement Of Materials Throughout The Warehouse Or Production Facility.
Physical Stamina And Strength: This Job Requires Frequent Lifting, Carrying, And Moving Of Heavy Materials, So Physical Fitness And Strength Are Important Qualifications For A Material Handler.
Attention To Detail: Material Handlers Must Be Able To Accurately Read And Follow Work Orders, Inventory Lists, And Other Documents To Ensure That Materials Are Correctly Identified And Placed In The Appropriate Locations.
