  1. Receive and inspect incoming materials to ensure they meet quality standards.
  2. Properly store materials in designated areas according to company guidelines.
  3. Organize and maintain inventory of materials, ensuring accurate counts and proper labeling.
  4. Prepare materials for production by pulling and staging them in a timely manner.
  5. Monitor inventory levels and notify appropriate personnel when materials need to be reordered.
  6. Operate forklifts and other equipment to move materials throughout the facility.
  7. Collaborate with production team to ensure timely delivery of materials to production lines.
  8. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
  9. Assist with loading and unloading materials from trucks and containers.
  10. Keep work area clean and organized at all times.
  11. Perform regular inventory checks to identify any discrepancies and report them to management.
  12. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow.
  13. Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
  14. Continuously seek ways to improve processes and increase efficiency in material handling.
  15. Maintain accurate records of all materials received, stored, and distributed.

  • Proficiency In Operating Material Handling Equipment: This Includes Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, And Other Industrial Machinery Used To Move And Transport Materials Within The Facility.

  • Knowledge Of Safety Protocols And Procedures: Material Handlers Must Be Familiar With Safety Regulations And Best Practices To Ensure The Safe Handling And Movement Of Materials Throughout The Warehouse Or Production Facility.

  • Physical Stamina And Strength: This Job Requires Frequent Lifting, Carrying, And Moving Of Heavy Materials, So Physical Fitness And Strength Are Important Qualifications For A Material Handler.

  • Attention To Detail: Material Handlers Must Be Able To Accurately Read And Follow Work Orders, Inventory Lists, And Other Documents To Ensure That Materials Are Correctly Identified And Placed In The Appropriate Locations.

  • Organizational And Time Management Skills: Material Handlers Are Responsible For Managing And Tracking Inventory Levels, So Strong Organizational And Time Management Skills Are Important To Keep Materials Moving Efficiently And Prevent Delays In Production Or Shipping.
