At Intuit, we're looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Payroll Specialist. As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee payroll, maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and providing exceptional customer service to our employees. We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual with a strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for delivering excellent results.   1. Process employee payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
  2. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to payroll.
  3. Provide exceptional customer service to employees regarding payroll inquiries and issues.
  4. Maintain accurate and organized employee payroll records.
  5. Stay up-to-date on any changes to payroll laws and regulations.
  6. Communicate effectively with team members and managers regarding payroll processes and updates.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve any payroll discrepancies or issues.
  8. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in payroll processing.
  9. Generate and distribute payroll reports as needed.
  10. Assist with year-end payroll tasks such as W-2 processing and tax filings.
  11. Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive employee payroll information.
  12. Train and onboard new team members as needed.
  13. Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  14. Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with payroll processes.
  15. Provide support and assistance to other departments as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Knowledge Of Payroll Laws And Regulations: A Payroll Specialist At Intuit Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Federal And State Payroll Laws, Tax Codes, And Regulations To Ensure Accurate And Compliant Processing Of Employee Pay.

  • Experience With Payroll Software: Proficiency With Payroll Software, Such As Quickbooks Or Adp, Is A Must For A Payroll Specialist At Intuit. This Includes The Ability To Set Up And Maintain Payroll Systems, Run Reports, And Troubleshoot Any Issues That May Arise.

  • Attention To Detail: Accuracy Is Crucial When It Comes To Payroll Processing. A Payroll Specialist At Intuit Should Possess Strong Attention To Detail To Ensure All Employee Information, Taxes, And Benefits Are Entered Correctly.

  • Communication And Customer Service Skills: As A Payroll Specialist At Intuit, You Will Be Responsible For Communicating With Employees And Managers Regarding Payroll-Related Inquiries. Strong Communication And Customer Service Skills Are Essential To Provide Prompt And Accurate Responses.

  • Prior Payroll Experience: Ideally, A Payroll Specialist At Intuit Should Have Prior Experience In A Similar Role, With A Proven Track Record Of Accurately Processing Payroll For A Large Number Of Employees. This Experience Should Also Include Handling Complex Payroll Situations, Such As Bonuses, Commissions, And Overtime.
