  1. Collaborate with the engineering team to design, test, and develop innovative robotic and control systems for use in surgical procedures.
  2. Support the development and implementation of new technologies and features for our surgical robots.
  3. Conduct research and analysis to identify potential areas for improvement and optimization in current robotic and control systems.
  4. Assist in the development of algorithms and software for real-time control and motion planning of surgical robots.
  5. Work with cross-functional teams to understand and prioritize user needs and requirements for surgical robotics.
  6. Conduct experiments and perform tests to validate the performance and safety of the robotic and control systems.
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to robotic and control systems.
  8. Document and communicate all design changes and updates to the engineering team.
  9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in surgical robotics to contribute to the overall innovation of our technology.
  10. Participate in team meetings and provide progress updates on assigned projects.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Background In Mechanical Engineering: The Ideal Candidate For This Internship Should Have A Solid Foundation In Mechanical Engineering Principles, Including Mechanics, Dynamics, And Materials Science. This Will Be Essential For Understanding The Design And Operation Of Robotic Surgical Systems.

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages: The Ability To Code In Languages Such As C++, Python, And Java Is Crucial For Developing And Testing Control Algorithms For Robotic Systems. Candidates Should Have Experience With Programming And Debugging In A Team Environment.

  • Knowledge Of Control Systems: A Strong Understanding Of Control Theory Is Necessary For Designing Control Algorithms And Implementing Them On Robotic Platforms. Familiarity With Pid Controllers, State-Space Models, And Feedback Control Systems Is Highly Desired.

  • Experience With Cad Software: The Ability To Create 3D Models And Perform Simulations Using Cad Software, Such As Solidworks Or Autocad, Is Important For The Design And Development Of Robotic Systems. Interns Will Be Expected To Contribute To The Design Process And Should Be Comfortable Using These Tools.

  • Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: The Ability To Approach Complex Problems And Develop Creative Solutions Is Crucial For Success In This Internship. Candidates Should Have A Strong Analytical Mindset And Be Able To Think Critically About Technical Challenges. Previous Experience Working On Robotics Projects Or Participating In Engineering Competitions Is A Plus.
