- Monitor and identify potential infectious disease outbreaks, including staying up to date on current global health trends and developments.
- Work closely with healthcare professionals and government agencies to quickly respond to and contain outbreaks.
- Conduct thorough investigations and analysis of infectious disease cases to determine the source and spread of the disease.
- Develop and implement protocols and strategies for infectious disease management, in accordance with industry best practices and guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop effective communication plans and disseminate critical information to relevant stakeholders.
- Provide support and guidance to healthcare professionals in identifying and managing infectious disease cases.
- Stay current on emerging infectious diseases and participate in ongoing education and training to continuously improve response strategies.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential threats posed by infectious diseases.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on infectious diseases, providing guidance and support to colleagues and clients.
- Act as a liaison between IQVIA and external partners and organizations involved in infectious disease response efforts.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all response efforts and outcomes.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of IQVIA's infectious disease response protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of response efforts.
- Uphold ethical standards and comply with all relevant laws and regulations in the course of fulfilling responsibilities.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Microbiology, Epidemiology, Or Public Health.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Infectious Disease Response, Preferably In A Public Health Or Clinical Research Setting.
Knowledge Of Relevant Infectious Diseases, Including Their Transmission, Diagnosis, And Treatment.
Ability To Quickly Adapt To Changing Situations And Work Effectively In High-Pressure Environments.
Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Diverse Stakeholders Including Healthcare Professionals, Government Agencies, And Community Organizations.
