Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Science Liaison to join our dynamic team at IQVIA.   1. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders in the medical community.
  2. Act as a scientific expert and resource for internal teams, providing accurate and up-to-date information on products, therapies, and disease states.
  3. Represent the company at medical conferences, advisory boards, and other scientific meetings, presenting data and insights to key stakeholders.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic plans for products, including identifying potential opportunities and challenges.
  5. Keep abreast of scientific and industry developments, trends, and competitors' activities in order to provide valuable insights and recommendations to internal teams.
  6. Conduct scientific presentations and training sessions for internal and external stakeholders, including sales teams and healthcare professionals.
  7. Facilitate the exchange of scientific information between the company and external stakeholders, including responding to inquiries and requests for information.
  8. Provide scientific support for marketing initiatives, including developing promotional materials and reviewing materials for accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  9. Participate in the development and execution of clinical trials, including identifying potential investigators and sites and providing scientific support to study teams.
  10. Adhere to all regulatory and compliance guidelines and company policies, ensuring ethical and responsible communication and interactions with external stakeholders.
  11. Contribute to the development of scientific publications and presentations, including reviewing and editing materials for accuracy and scientific rigor.
  12. Act as a scientific resource for the sales and marketing teams, providing training and support for product launches and other initiatives.
  13. Collaborate with medical affairs and clinical development teams to identify and address unmet medical needs and opportunities for new therapies.
  14. Demonstrate a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including healthcare regulations, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  15. Uphold the company's values and promote a positive image and reputation in all interactions with external stakeholders.

  • Advanced Degree In Life Sciences: A Strong Background In Life Sciences, Such As A Phd Or Pharmd, Is Typically Required For A Medical Science Liaison (Msl) Position At Iqvia. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Deep Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Research Methods.

  • Clinical Experience: Msls Must Have A Strong Clinical Background, With Experience In Conducting Clinical Trials And A Thorough Understanding Of The Drug Development Process. This Expertise Is Crucial For Effectively Communicating With Healthcare Professionals And Key Opinion Leaders.
