Job Description

IQVIA is looking for a highly motivated Scientist, Assay Development - R&D to join our innovative team. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of our fast-paced and dynamic environment, and to bring your creativity and expertise to the table.The ideal candidate should have a PhD in the life sciences, with a strong background in biochemistry, molecular biology, and/or immunology. Additionally, the successful candidate should possess 4+ years of experience in the development and evaluation of assays and have experience with laboratory automation. A deep understanding of immunoassays, cell-based assays, and/or protein biology is desired.We are seeking a creative individual with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for improving healthcare outcomes. This position will offer the successful candidate the chance to use cutting-edge technologies to develop and optimize assays for current and future projects. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and evaluate assays for current and future projects using cutting-edge technologies.
  2. Utilize biochemistry, molecular biology, and/or immunology to optimize and improve existing assays.
  3. Develop and maintain laboratory automation systems.
  4. Analyze data and present results to colleagues and management.
  5. Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues and external partners.
  6. Troubleshoot problems with assay development and laboratory equipment.
  7. Maintain accurate records of experiments and results.
  8. Prepare documents for regulatory submission.
  9. Ensure laboratory safety standards are met at all times.
  10. Stay up to date with the latest developments in assay development and immunoassays.
