Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Assistant Production Manager to join the team at J.Crew! As the Assistant Production Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with the overall production operations and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the production process. To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in fashion production, manufacturing, or a related field, excellent organizational and communication skills, knowledge of production budgeting and planning, and strong problem-solving skills. You must also have a proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks. Additionally, you should be able to work well with a team and have a strong customer service focus. If you are a creative and organized individual with a passion for the fashion industry, we would love for you to join our team!

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with daily production operations, including budgeting and planning.
  2. Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the production process.
  3. Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
  4. Develop and maintain strong customer service focus.
  5. Create and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  6. Problem-solve production issues and identify process improvements.
  7. Monitor production progress and make recommendations for improvement.
  8. Develop and implement new production processes and procedures.
  9. Work closely with other departments to ensure quality control.
  10. Prepare reports and analyze production data.
