Job Description

Welcome to J.Crew, where style and quality go hand in hand. We are currently seeking a PLM/Design Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in bringing our designs to life. As a PLM/Design Coordinator, you will work closely with our design and product development teams to ensure a seamless and efficient process from concept to production.   1. Collaborate with the design team to understand the vision and concept for each collection.
  2. Manage the product lifecycle management (PLM) system to track and monitor the progress of each design.
  3. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including product development and sourcing, to gather necessary information and materials for each design.
  4. Ensure accuracy and completeness of design information in the PLM system, including design sketches, colorways, and fabric and trim details.
  5. Communicate with suppliers to gather sample approvals and resolve any issues in a timely manner.
  6. Assist in creating and maintaining design and production calendars to ensure timely delivery of samples and final products.
  7. Support the design team in creating and updating line sheets and presentation materials.
  8. Review and maintain product information and details in the PLM system, including pricing, product descriptions, and product codes.
  9. Conduct regular meetings with the design team to provide updates on the status of each design and address any concerns.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and competitor products to provide insights and suggestions for design improvements.
  11. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of designs to production, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams as needed.
  12. Organize and maintain physical and digital design samples, ensuring they are easily accessible for design and production teams.
  13. Collaborate with the design team to continuously improve and streamline the design process.
  14. Represent the company's brand and values by upholding high standards of quality and attention to detail.
  15. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to promote creativity and teamwork.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Fashion Design, Product Development, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Product Lifecycle Management And Coordination, Preferably In The Fashion Industry

  • Proficiency In Plm Software, Such As Ptc Flexplm Or Gerber Technology Yuniqueplm

  • Strong Understanding Of Design Processes And Product Development Timelines

  • Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Coordinate And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.
