Job Description

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy for J.Crew in line with the company's overall vision and goals.
  2. Lead and manage a team responsible for executing sustainability initiatives and programs across the organization.
  3. Conduct regular assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop plans to address sustainability gaps.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability practices into all aspects of the business, including supply chain, operations, and product development.
  5. Stay informed and up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in sustainability, and make recommendations for incorporating them into J.Crew's strategy.
  6. Establish and maintain partnerships with external organizations and stakeholders to drive sustainability initiatives and promote J.Crew's sustainability efforts.
  7. Monitor and report on the company's sustainability performance, including tracking key metrics and presenting progress to senior leadership.
  8. Develop and manage a budget for sustainability initiatives and programs.
  9. Serve as a key spokesperson and advocate for J.Crew's sustainability efforts, both internally and externally.
  10. Educate and engage employees at all levels of the organization on sustainability practices and their role in achieving company goals.
  11. Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and standards.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve sustainability processes and practices to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  13. Represent J.Crew at sustainability conferences, events, and forums to stay connected with the broader sustainability community.
  14. Act as a thought leader and champion for sustainability within the organization, driving a culture of sustainability and social responsibility.
  15. Lead by example and inspire others to make sustainable choices, both in the workplace and in their personal lives.
