  7. Participate in project planning and estimation, ensuring timely and quality delivery of projects.
  8. Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide regular updates on project progress.
  9. Stay updated on J.P. Morgan Chase & Co.'s technology landscape and contribute to its evolution and enhancement.
  10. Mentor and train junior team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
  11. Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.
  12. Collaborate with other teams and departments to identify and implement process improvements.
  13. Act as a subject matter expert and provide technical guidance to other teams within the organization.
  14. Continuously monitor and optimize mainframe applications to improve their performance and efficiency.
  15. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including ethical and professional standards.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Mainframe Programming: A Mainframe Lead Software Engineer At J.p. Morgan Chase & Co. Should Have A Strong Background In Mainframe Programming Languages Such As Cobol, Pl/I, Assembler, And Jcl. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Mainframe Architecture And Be Able To Design And Develop Complex Applications On The Platform.

  • Leadership And Project Management Skills: As A Lead Engineer, This Role Requires Strong Leadership And Project Management Skills. The Candidate Should Have Experience Leading A Team Of Developers And Be Able To Effectively Manage Timelines, Resources, And Deliverables For Multiple Projects.

  • Knowledge Of Financial Systems: J.p. Morgan Chase & Co. Is A Financial Institution, And The Mainframe Lead Software Engineer Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Financial Systems And Processes. This Includes Knowledge Of Banking, Trading, And Risk Management Systems, As Well As Compliance And Regulatory Requirements.

  • Problem-Solving And Analytical Abilities: The Candidate Should Have Strong Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills To Troubleshoot Complex Issues And Find Innovative Solutions. They Should Be Able To Analyze Large Volumes Of Data And Identify Patterns And Trends To Improve System Performance.
