Asset Protection Associate

JCPenney is looking for an Asset Protection Associate who is passionate about helping create a safe and secure shopping environment for our customers. Responsibilities:

1. Monitor customers and employees in store to identify any potential theft or criminal activity.
2. Provide customer service and assistance to customers in a professional and courteous manner.
3. Respond to security alarms, investigate disturbances, and apprehend shoplifters.
4. Maintain a visible presence in the store to deter theft and other criminal activity.
5. Greet customers upon entering the store and answer questions related to store security procedures.
6. Enforce store policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment.
7. Maintain accurate records of security incidents and theft cases.
8. Train and supervise store personnel on proper security measures and procedures.
9. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with store personnel and law enforcement personnel.
10. Perform regular inspections of store security systems and equipment.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
