Asset Protection Manager

We are seeking an experienced, motivated Asset Protection Manager to join our team at JCPenney. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing loss prevention programs in order to minimize theft, fraud, and abuse. You will be a leader and mentor to a team of asset protection associates, leading by example and inspiring a culture of safety and compliance.To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with a proven ability to implement effective strategies and lead a team. You should also have a strong understanding of industry regulations and their implications.The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a retail security and loss prevention role, including supervisory experience. Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe working environment for staff and customers

• Monitor security systems and respond to alarms

• Identify areas of improvement and implement corrective action plans

• Prepare reports detailing lost or stolen items and suspicious activities

• Develop and enforce store policies and procedures

• Participate in safety and training initiatives
