Visual Merchandiser

JD Sports is looking for an experienced and creative Visual Merchandiser to join our team. They should possess a good understanding of current trends, fashion industry best practices, and have a flair for creativity.To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of three years' experience in a visual merchandising role, preferably within a fashion retail setting. In addition, you should possess excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills. A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement creative visual merchandising strategies to promote and display products in a way that is visually appealing and encourages customers to make purchases.
2. Stay up-to-date with trends in the fashion industry and use these trends to create visually stunning displays.
3. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of visual merchandising strategies and make adjustments as needed.
4. Work collaboratively with store staff to ensure that displays are consistently kept neat and attractive.
5. Ensure that all displays adhere to JD Sports standards and health and safety regulations.
6. Analyse customer feedback and use this information to refine visual merchandising strategies.
7. Maintain accurate records of inventory and customer feedback.
8. Train and mentor junior visual merchandisers.
