Job Description

Gathers, documents, and understands departmental objectives and requirements. Analyze documentation of aircraft leases and associated return conditions. Facilitate the compiling of aircraft records for JetBlue’s leased aircraft. Support discussions with lessors on aircraft condition and problem solving of outstanding technical items. Prepares financial models to assess aircraft retirement costs. Facilitates group discussions and helps drive consensus for project governance recommendations. Escalates project risk and mitigation to program leadership. Prepares timeline, scope, and budget documentation for responsible project workstreams. Prepares and communicates project health and status reports. Assists in the contracting and negotiation processes with potential business partners.

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to individually manage program workstreams with minimal leadership oversight

  • Five (5) years technical operations, engineering, or related experience

  • Knowledgeable in aircraft technical components and maintenance contracts; ability to forecast technical expenses

  • Ability to work independently and in a high pressure team environment
