Assistant Manager, Communications

In addition to your communication skills, you will need to possess strong organizational and project management skills. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute comprehensive communications campaigns to support JM Smucker's goals and objectives.
2. Monitor industry trends and best practices, and make recommendations to the organization as appropriate.
3. Serve as a liaison between the organization and media outlets to ensure positive and accurate representation of the company.
4. Manage the production of various written and digital communications materials, such as press releases, website content, and social media posts.
5. Work with various departments to coordinate and ensure continuity of communications efforts.
6. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, such as press, vendors, and partners.
7. Utilize data and analytics to measure the success of communications campaigns.
8. Provide guidance and support to junior staff members.
9. Oversee and manage external vendors and resources.
10. Participate in brainstorming sessions and other project meetings.
