At JM Smucker, we are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Analyst / Buyer to join our team and help ensure the most efficient supply of products to our customers. The ideal candidate for this role has a strong background in purchasing and inventory control, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on the findings. If you are a highly organized individual with a knack for problem-solving and managing a variety of tasks, this is the job for you!The Inventory Control Analyst / Buyer will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of inventory, assessing inventory needs, and working with vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing. Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain accurate records of inventory and assess inventory needs.
  2. Work with vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing.
  3. Analyze data and trends to make recommendations to the business to ensure the best possible supply chain.
  4. Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, Oracle, and other ERP systems to manage inventory and purchasing.
  5. Develop and implement strategies to improve inventory control processes.
  6. Monitor and report on inventory levels, expenses, and other key metrics.
  7. Track and forecast inventory levels and usage trends.
  8. Develop, analyze, and implement inventory control policies and procedures.
  9. Resolve any inventory discrepancies and maintain accurate records.
  10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient inventory management.
