
Manufacturing Engineer Technician
John Deere Company is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Manufacturing Engineer Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the safety and efficiency of all manufacturing processes. You will also be integral in the development of new processes and technologies to improve production and reduce costs.The ideal candidate for this position should have a solid understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes. You should also possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills. An Associate's degree in Engineering or a related field is required, and a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Responsibilities:
- Oversee and ensure the safety and efficiency of all manufacturing processes.
- Develop new processes and technologies to improve production and reduce costs.
- Utilize engineering principles and manufacturing processes to solve problems.
- Analyze manufacturing data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with the selection and installation of new manufacturing equipment.
- Train and supervise staff in the use of new equipment and processes.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure that production schedules are met and quality standards are maintained.
- Monitor and report progress and performance of manufacturing processes.
