Job Description

At John Deere Company, we are looking for a Quality Engineering - Continuous Improvement professional to join our team and help us achieve world-class standards of excellence. As a key member of our Quality Engineering team, you will be charged with identifying opportunities for improvement in our products and processes, and then developing and implementing strategies to drive sustainable performance.The ideal candidate for this role will possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality engineering role, with a proven track record of creating and executing successful continuous improvement initiatives. You should have a strong technical background with a deep understanding of quality engineering principles, and experience with Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies. You should be a team player who is energized by working collaboratively with colleagues across a global organization. Above all, you should be passionate about making a difference and committed to driving world-class performance.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategies to drive sustainable performance in quality engineering.
  2. Identify opportunities for improvement in products and processes.
  3. Utilize Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies to achieve continuous improvement initiatives.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues across a global organization to achieve team objectives.
  5. Maintain a deep understanding of quality engineering principles.
  6. Monitor and report on progress of quality engineering initiatives.
  7. Proactively identify potential areas of improvement and develop strategies to address them.
  8. Utilize data analysis and other tools to identify trends in product and process performance.
  9. Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  10. Provide guidance and support to other team members.
