Job Description

Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking an experienced Associate Senior Counsel - Technology & Commercial Transactions to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, results-driven individual who is comfortable working independently and in a team-oriented environment. The successful applicant will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, a strong work ethic, and will be able to provide top-notch legal counsel and guidance on a variety of technology and commercial transactions.The required qualifications for this position include a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school, a minimum of 8 years of experience in technology and commercial transactions, and active bar membership in good standing with the Maryland State Bar. Additionally, the successful candidate must have a strong understanding of the relevant legal principles and regulations, excellent analytical and writing skills, and the ability to provide sound legal advice and guidance. The ability to work closely with various departments and individuals and to collaborate effectively is essential.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide legal counsel and guidance on a variety of technology and commercial transactions.
  2. Interpret and apply relevant legal principles and regulations.
  3. Analyze complex legal documents and data.
  4. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts.
  5. Utilize excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with various departments and individuals.
  6. Research case law and legal precedents relevant to technology and commercial transactions.
  7. Assist with compliance and risk management issues.
  8. Monitor and advise on regulatory developments.
  9. Remain up-to-date on relevant industry trends and developments.
  10. Provide timely and accurate advice and guidance to internal stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
