
EEG Technician - Epilepsy Monitoring

- Conduct EEG tests: Perform routine and specialized EEG tests on patients with epilepsy, following established protocols and procedures.
- Monitor patient care: Monitor patients during EEG testing to ensure their safety and comfort, and alert medical staff to any changes in their condition.
- Record and analyze data: Record and analyze EEG data using specialized equipment and software, and accurately document findings for review by medical staff.
- Maintain equipment: Ensure all EEG equipment is properly calibrated and maintained, and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during testing.

Certified Eeg Technician: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Certificate In Eeg Technology From An Accredited Institution.
Experience In Epilepsy Monitoring: A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Performing And Analyzing Eegs Specifically For Epilepsy Monitoring Is Preferred.
Knowledge Of Epilepsy And Related Disorders: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Different Types Of Epilepsy And Related Disorders, As Well As The Ability To Recognize And Interpret Abnormal Eeg Patterns.
Strong Technical Skills: The Job Requires Proficiency In Operating Eeg Equipment, As Well As Knowledge Of Different Eeg Software Programs And Their Applications In Epilepsy Monitoring.
Interpersonal And Communication Skills: The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication Skills To Interact With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals In A Professional And Compassionate Manner. The Ability To Work Effectively In A Team Is Also Essential.
