
Lab Technician - Certified Phlebotomist
Johns Hopkins Medicine is seeking an experienced Lab Technician - Certified Phlebotomist to join our team. We are looking for a motivated individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for patient care, the ability to work well with colleagues, and a strong commitment to providing outstanding customer service.The successful candidate will possess a certification as a Phlebotomist, and have experience working in a laboratory setting. The right individual must have an excellent knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety protocols. In addition, the ideal candidate must be able to work effectively with minimal supervision and demonstrate strong organizational skills. A professional attitude and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Provide phlebotomy services to patients and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Perform laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
- Monitor laboratory equipment to ensure proper functioning and accuracy of results.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Maintain records of laboratory tests and results.
- Assist with the training of new employees in laboratory procedures.
- Assist with stocking laboratory supplies.
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries from patients and staff.
- Work effectively with minimal supervision and demonstrate strong organizational skills.
- Remain calm under pressure and possess a professional attitude.
Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team
