  1. Conduct genetic counseling sessions with patients, including explaining genetic testing options and results, discussing potential risks and implications, and providing emotional support and guidance.
  2. Collaborate with other members of the research team, including geneticists, scientists, and clinicians, to design and implement genetic research studies.
  3. Collect, analyze, and interpret complex genetic data and information from research studies and patient records.
  4. Maintain accurate and detailed records of research data, including managing databases and organizing genetic samples.
  5. Stay up-to-date with current research findings and advancements in the field of genetics and incorporate this knowledge into research projects.
  6. Work closely with patients and families to obtain informed consent for research studies and ensure compliance with ethical and legal guidelines.
  7. Communicate research findings to colleagues, medical professionals, and the general public through presentations, publications, and other forms of dissemination.
  8. Collaborate with external partners and stakeholders, such as pharmaceutical companies and government agencies, to facilitate research collaborations and funding opportunities.
  9. Serve as a resource and educator for other healthcare professionals, students, and the community on topics related to genetics and genetic research.
  10. Adhere to all institutional policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements, in conducting research and providing genetic counseling services.

Job Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree In Genetic Counseling Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Prior Research Experience In Genetics, Genomics, Or Related Fields.
