  1. Provide advanced and specialized care to patients with complex thoracic surgical conditions.
  2. Collaborate closely with renowned physicians to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
  3. Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  5. Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and self-management techniques.
  6. Monitor and document patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  7. Serve as a resource and support for nursing staff and other healthcare team members.
  8. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment strategies.
  9. Stay up-to-date on current research and developments in the field of thoracic surgery.
  10. Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  11. Foster a caring and compassionate environment for patients and their families.
  12. Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
  13. Act as an advocate for patients and their families, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  14. Attend continuing education and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  15. Adhere to ethical and legal standards of practice in all aspects of patient care.

Job Qualifications
  • Bls And Acls Certifications.

  • Master's Degree In Nursing With A Specialization In Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.

  • Current And Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner License In The State Of Practice.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In Thoracic Surgery.

  • Certification As An Acute Care Nurse Practitioner By A Recognized National Organization (E.g. Ancc, Aanp).
