  1. Provide comprehensive prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum care to expectant mothers and their newborns.
  2. Conduct thorough health assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients.
  3. Monitor maternal and fetal well-being during pregnancy and labor, and intervene as needed.
  4. Educate patients and their families on prenatal care, childbirth, and postpartum care.
  5. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
  6. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient encounters and interventions.
  7. Stay current on best practices and evidence-based guidelines for midwifery and women's health care.
  8. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences.
  9. Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families throughout the childbirth process.
  10. Serve as an advocate for women's health issues and promote patient empowerment and autonomy.
  11. Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and colleagues.
  12. Adhere to all regulatory and organizational policies and procedures.
  13. Attend continuing education courses and conferences to maintain and enhance knowledge and skills.
  14. Mentor and precept students and new staff in midwifery and women's health care.
  15. Participate in on-call rotation and be available for births and emergencies as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Diverse Patient Populations.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Current Certification As A Certified Nurse Midwife (Cnm) From The American Midwifery Certification Board.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience As A Cnm In A Clinical Setting.

  • Active State Rn And Cnm Licenses, With The Ability To Obtain Additional State Licenses As Needed.
