Clinician, Emergency Psychiatric Services

Our Kaiser Permanente Emergency Psychiatric Services team is looking for an experienced Clinician to join our dedicated team of professionals. We are looking for a person with a passion for providing high quality care to individuals in crisis, who has a commitment to improving the lives of our patients.The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, have a keen interest in working with vulnerable populations, have a commitment to patient safety, and be able to work collaboratively with other members of the team.The successful candidate for this position will have a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field. In addition, they must be licensed or certified in the state of California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, or Psychiatrist. The Clinician must have at least two years of experience providing direct patient care and crisis management in an emergency setting.We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated individual who is committed to providing excellent care to our patients in a safe and respectful environment. Responsibilities:

1. Provide high quality care to individuals in crisis
2. Demonstrate strong clinical skills and keen interest in working with vulnerable populations
3. Ensure patient safety and work collaboratively with the team
4. Develop treatment plans and provide direct patient care
5. Provide crisis management in an emergency setting
6. Maintain license/certification in the State of California
7. Participate in continuing education and professional development
8. Maintain knowledge of current psychiatric and mental health treatments
9. Create an atmosphere of collaboration, support, and respect
10. Document patient care, progress, and treatment plans
