  1. Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing medical procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
  2. Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and response to anesthesia, making necessary adjustments to ensure their safety and comfort.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including surgeons and anesthesiologists, to develop and implement individualized anesthesia plans for each patient.
  4. Provide pre-operative consultations and education to patients and their families, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  5. Maintain accurate and thorough records of all anesthesia procedures, medications administered, and patient responses.
  6. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to minimize the risk of complications and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
  7. Stay informed and up-to-date on current trends, techniques, and advancements in the field of anesthesia, incorporating new knowledge into practice as appropriate.
  8. Participate in continuing education and professional development activities, maintaining required certifications and licenses.
  9. Demonstrate compassion and empathy towards patients and their families, providing emotional support and addressing their needs and concerns.
  10. Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights are respected and their voices are heard throughout the anesthesia process.
  11. Collaborate with colleagues to identify and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences.
  12. Maintain a professional and collaborative attitude and work ethic, promoting a positive and respectful work environment.
  13. Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, including those related to patient confidentiality and ethical standards.
  14. Take initiative in identifying and reporting any potential safety or quality concerns to appropriate individuals or committees.
  15. Serve as a role model and mentor to other healthcare professionals, promoting excellence in patient care and professional growth.

  • Bls, Acls, And Pals Certifications

  • Graduate Degree In Nurse Anesthesia From An Accredited Program

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Crna In A Hospital Setting
