Job Description

Kaiser Permanente is seeking an experienced and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the highest standards of patient care while providing preventive dental services to a diverse range of patients. Working closely with our dentists and other dental hygienists, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, an eagerness to learn, and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.To qualify for this position, applicants must have a current state license, certification from an accredited dental hygiene program, and two years of experience in a dental office or clinic. The successful candidate will also have proven interpersonal skills, be detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic. A commitment to providing patient-centered care and a passion for educating patients about oral health are essential to being successful in this role.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide preventive dental services to a diverse range of patients according to established standards.
  2. Educate patients about oral health care and maintain accurate documentation of patient visits.
  3. Maintain a safe and comfortable environment in the dental office or clinic.
  4. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Regularly clean, sterilize, and restock dental instruments.
  6. Assist dentists during procedures as needed.
  7. Follow all safety protocols and maintain up-to-date knowledge of state laws and regulations.
  8. Keep abreast of new developments and changes in the field of dentistry.
  9. Participate in continuing education and training opportunities.

Job Qualifications
