
Diagnostic Imaging Technologist
We at Kaiser Permanente are searching for an experienced and knowledgeable Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our excellent healthcare team. The successful candidate should have a combination of experience, technical skills, and a passion for providing excellent patient care. This position requires an energetic, focused, and compassionate professional with strong organizational skills and a commitment to providing quality images for diagnosis.Qualifications for this role include a minimum of two years of experience in the field of diagnostic imaging, certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent, and certification in computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and/or nuclear medicine. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess excellent communication and customer service skills, and have the ability to effectively work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures according to established protocols.
- Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and maintain patient safety during each procedure.
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, and operate imaging equipment with skill and accuracy.
- Provide quality images for diagnosis and review with medical staff.
- Maintain patient records and document all procedures accurately.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve imaging equipment issues.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure a clean and safe work environment.
- Maintain professional relationships with all patients and medical staff.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in diagnostic imaging technology and procedures.
