Dietitian

We’re looking for an experienced, passionate Dietitian to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. In this role, you will provide nutrition services to a diverse patient population in order to promote health, prevent disease, and improve patient outcomes. You’ll need to be able to offer individualized nutrition counseling and education to a wide range of patients, from children to the elderly, and have excellent interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate for this role has a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in dietetics, nutrition, or a related field, plus one or more years of clinical experience. Registered Dietitian (RD) and/or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification is required, and experience with electronic health records is a plus.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide individualized nutrition counseling and education to a wide range of patients, from children to the elderly.
2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health records.
3. Develop and implement nutrition programs to promote health and prevent disease.
4. Monitor patient progress and modify nutrition programs as needed.
5. Prepare nutritional plans and menus to meet patients’ individual needs.
6. Educate patients and family members about healthy eating habits and lifestyle.
7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
8. Remain up-to-date on current nutrition trends and best practices.
