- Oversee all aspects of food and nutrition services for Kaiser Permanente, including meal planning, preparation, and service.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote healthy eating habits and improve the overall nutrition of patients and members.
- Manage a team of food service staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Monitor and maintain food safety and sanitation standards in accordance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless and efficient food service experience for patients and members.
- Create and manage budget for food and nutrition services, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in food service management to continuously improve operations and offerings.
- Develop and maintain relationships with food suppliers to ensure high-quality ingredients are used in all meals.
- Implement and monitor patient and member feedback mechanisms to continuously improve the food service experience.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Kaiser Permanente policies related to food service and nutrition.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role In A Healthcare Food Service Setting.
Registered Dietitian (Rd) Or Certified Dietary Manager (Cdm) Certification.
Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Service Management, Or Related Field.
Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Standards Related To Food Service, Including Tjc, Cms, And State Health Department Requirements.
Excellent Communication, Problem-Solving, And Team-Building Skills.
