We are looking for an experienced and motivated EAP Consultant to join the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) team at Kaiser Permanente. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the EAP team and provide both individual and group counseling services to support the mental health and wellbeing of our employees.The ideal candidate will possess a master’s degree in a mental health-related field, such as psychology, social work, or counseling, and possess a valid state license. They should have a minimum of two years of experience providing counseling services in the workplace or in a related setting. The candidate must also be able to work independently with a high degree of professionalism and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.If you have the required qualifications and are passionate about helping others, we'd love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling services to support the mental health and wellbeing of Kaiser Permanente employees.
- Maintain a valid state license in a mental health-related field such as psychology, social work, or counseling.
- Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism while working independently.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Develop and implement effective counseling strategies and interventions.
- Monitor and document progress of clients in accordance with professional standards.
- Maintain accurate and complete client records and reports.
- Attend professional development workshops, conferences, and other continuing education opportunities.
- Collaborate with other EAP team members to ensure quality care.
- Adhere to the ethical standards and legal regulations of the profession.
