  1. Assist with patient intake: The Emergency Department Technician will be responsible for greeting and checking in patients as they arrive in the emergency department. This includes obtaining necessary information, such as vital signs and medical history, to assist the healthcare team.
  2. Provide direct patient care: The technician will be responsible for providing basic patient care, such as assisting with procedures, administering medications, and monitoring patients' conditions. They may also be responsible for responding to patient calls and assisting with patient transfers.
  3. Maintain equipment and supplies: The emergency department technician will be responsible for ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are stocked and readily available. They may also be responsible for performing basic maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
  4. Collaborate with healthcare team: The technician will work closely with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care for patients. This may include communicating patient needs, assisting with procedures, and providing support during emergencies.
