  1. Provide immediate and efficient assistance to patients in the emergency department.
  2. Perform basic medical procedures such as taking vital signs, administering first aid, and assisting with minor medical procedures.
  3. Prepare and maintain a clean and organized emergency department environment.
  4. Assist healthcare professionals in emergency situations by providing necessary supplies and equipment.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
  6. Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the healthcare team.
  7. Respond quickly and calmly to emergency situations, following established protocols and procedures.
  8. Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members.
  9. Collaborate with other emergency department staff to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  10. Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.
  11. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  12. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow HIPAA guidelines.
  13. Support a positive and welcoming environment for patients, their families, and visitors.
  14. Demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality and compassionate care to all patients.
  15. Assist with other duties as assigned by the emergency department manager or healthcare team.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Certification As An Emergency Medical Technician (Emt) Or Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna)

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience Working In A Fast-Paced Emergency Department Setting

  • Strong Knowledge Of Basic Emergency Medical Procedures And Equipment, Such As Iv Insertion, Wound Care, And Ekg Monitoring

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Team Members

  • Ability To Work Efficiently Under Pressure And Multitask In A High-Stress Environment, While Maintaining A High Level Of Attention To Detail And Accuracy.
